From Ghent in Belgium, Chantal De Weer grew up surrounded by artists, her father being the Director of the Academy of Beaux-Arts in Eeklo.
All her life she has rubbed shoulders with artists and writers and has been inspired by their influence.
After a career as a manager in a multinational corporation, and not having been spared from the vagaries of life, she told her story in her book “Malgré… la vie me sourit” edited by “Edilivre Paris” under the pseudonym Camille Quillot.
Having retired and settled in the South-West of France, she reconnected with her first love, Art. Her original creations, full of happiness and freshness, reflect her warm and endearing personality. The Art-work, like Chantal, is one of a kind and portrays an ode-to-life.
